What to Expect
Before Your Appointment
- Create your patient portal account in Charm. The link will be emailed to you when you request an appointment. Note: it could be in your spam or promotions folder. Please reach out if you are not finding it.
- Please complete your paperwork at least 24 hours before the appointment so that I have time to review. Your appointment could be canceled if the forms are not completed in time.
- If we’re meeting virtually, please make sure you have the latest version of Zoom downloaded on your phone or computer. It’s not a bad idea to test your audio connections, too.
- Please write down any questions.
- If you can verify which labs or imaging centers are in your insurance network, this can expedite any lab or imaging referrals recommended in your initial visit.

Billing Information
I am currently out of network with all insurances except MODA and Regence, but not all MODA or Regence plans cover naturopathic care or me specifically. It is your responsibility to verify coverage before your visit.
For those with out-of-network or no insurance, payment is due at the time of service. We do not bill out-of-network insurances. You will be given an itemized invoice, called a superbill, that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
There is a time of service discount available to those without coverage.
Medicare and Medicaid will not be billed, and payment is required at the time of service.

FAQs
Can you order labs and imaging?
Yes, I can order labs and necessary imaging. These services can be covered by your insurance. It is helpful to know which lab or imaging center is in your insurance network. You can call your insurance for this information.
Can you prescribe medications?
Yes, I can prescribe medications in OR and WA. I will not take over medications prescribed by your PCP, as I cannot be a PCP.
Can you be my PCP?
No.
Can you do my annual well woman exam or paps?
I am able to do these exams, but they are typically covered in full by your insurance. It’s best to schedule with your PCP or gynecologist for full coverage.
Do I need to see you in-person?
No, in-person options are available, as well as virtual visits for those living in OR and WA.
What if I don’t live in OR or WA? Can I still work with you?
If you are outside of OR or WA, I can provide educational consults only, but I cannot diagnose, order labs/images, or prescribe medications.
Do you prescribe hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or bioidentical hormone therapy?
Yes, HRT (using bioidentical hormones) is a safe and effective therapy that can provide immense benefits, symptom relief, and preventive benefits to women in the perimenopausal and menopausal years.
What happens after I request an appointment?
Look for an email from Flow Natural Health Care. Create your account in the patient portal (CharmEHR), and complete the new patient forms. If you’ve chosen a virtual appointment, these are done over Zoom. Make sure you have the latest version downloaded on your computer or phone.
What’s the difference between the 6-month Wild Pursuits program and individual visits?
The 6-month program is a fully comprehensive, all-inclusive program that includes extensive functional labs, email support, and bimonthly visits. The individual visits, on the other hand, are focused on specific concerns. We choose labs as needed (if indicated), and you pay as you go. The 6-month Wild Pursuits program is by application only.
